Norwegian reference for local AI — registers, plans and honest tests.
kjerneki is a Norwegian reference site for local AI: registers, build plans and honest tests.
The site collects what you need to choose and build local AI — licenses, models, words and plans — without pretending we have tested more than we have.
There is plenty of English material. In Norwegian there is no calm place that separates marketing copy, sources and our own measurements. This is the site I wished existed.
Text on the site is written and edited with help from AI, then reviewed before it goes up. No AI-generated images of hardware or places are presented as real builds.
The content uses the word AI. The domain kjerneki.no joins “kjerne” (core), the “node” idea in the name, and the Norwegian abbreviation KI for artificial intelligence. On the site we write AI, except when we explain the domain name itself — as here and in llms.txt.
Kjernelab is a weekly test log for AI tools and everyday use. kjerneki is registers, build plans and honest tests for local AI.
